Purvi Shah, Ph.D.
Dr. Shah received her doctoral degree from Bowling Green State University with a specialty in behavioral medicine. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the West Haven VA in CT and the post-doctoral fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains, NY. She has received specialty training in the treatment of anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and phobias. Additionally, she also has particular interest and training in the treatment of mood disorders (i.e. depression, adjustment disorders) and of psychological distress secondary to a medical illness.
