Nicholas Maltby, Ph.D.
Dr. Maltby received his doctorate from the University of Connecticut in 2001. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship specializing in anxiety disorders at the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Institute of Living. His clinical interests include the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and phobias. Dr. Maltby is a licensed pilot and has extensive experience treating fear of flying.
Andrea Nave, M.A., LPC
Clinical Practice Manager
Andrea Nave is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s degree from Fordham University. Andrea has completed clinical training at the Regulation of Emotion and Anxiety Disorder Lab at Yale University, Compulsive Obsessive and Anxiety Program at Fordham University, NYU Child Study Center Neuropsychology & Learning Service, NYU Child Study Center Attention Deficit Hyperactivity & Behavior Disorders Service, Bellevue Hospital Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Yale Child Study Center Anxiety and Mood Service, Anxiety Disorders Center at Institute of Living, and the Anxiety Institute of Greenwich. She is particularly interested in cognitive behavioral treatment of anxiety, mood, and behavior disorders in anxious youth. Andrea takes a whole family approach to treatment, effectively utilizing parent-based interventions, including Parent Management Training and the SPACE (Supportive Parenting of Anxious Childhood Emotions) program.
Stephanie Doudounis, Psy.D.
Stephanie Doudounis received her Doctorate degree in clinical Psychology at the Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University Tampa. Stephanie has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, juvenile detention centers, and school settings. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Clifford Beers Clinic, a trauma- focused program in New Haven, Connecticut treating children, adolescents and families. As a postdoctoral fellow, Stephanie has worked at the intensive outpatient program at Anxiety Institute in Greenwich, Connecticut and has extensive experience treating children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families with a focus on anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma.
Mary Gover, M.A., LPC, NCC
Mary Gover is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hartford in 2016. Mary completed her clinical internship at Community Health Resources in Bloomfield, CT treating a variety of mental health issues such as generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. She also obtained three years of clinical assessment experience working in the neuropsychology program at Rhode Island Hospital. She is especially interested in cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based interventions for anxiety and mood disorders, and the impact of stress and anxiety on physical health and wellness.
