Humanizing Anxiety and OCD

Before getting help, everybody  with anxiety or OCD feels hopeless and alone, that no one understands them and nothing will help. They wonder why they were picked to suffer when everybody else is fine. Life feels unfair.

The most important thing our therapists do is help you feel hopeful again. To feel understood. To help you know that anxiety and OCD are normal parts of the human condition that can be managed and overcome. That everybody has challenges to overcome.

Hope gives you the energy and drive to fully participate in treatment. If you are on our site, you probably don't believe you can be hopeful.  You are not alone. Everyone who calls us feels exactly the same.
